My interpretation of the Burnt Elsen from OFF. off.wikia.com/wiki/Common_Enem…

I took each one, and since there were five, and five elements in the game, I associated to each an element. Then, I associated those elements with our own common four: Fire, water, ground/earth, and air. (plus mind, cause why not; the spirit/mind is important, right?) I also associated a few negative feelings to each.

The first element you hear about is smoke, and the first burnt you come across is the common variety, so I felt to was right to associate the two. Since a lot of the elsen in the area seem to be anxious or under pressure, overworked, and sometimes quite weary or overworrying, I used those emotions.

The Valzong Burnt is associated with water, mostly due to the fact that that was the remaining element out of the five. However, I also found the liquid element a good one to use in relation to the pillar of... whatever you see it as... that engulfs its head. In this instance, the pillar is either boiling water, or steam. I tried to relate the negative emotions to the way the particular Elsen was acting.

I associated the Calvary Burnt with angry emtions due to the way the sugar-deprived Elsen were acting. This is also why I chose fire/meat as the element.

The Critic Burnt is related to earth for generally the same reason as the Valgong Burnt. It's also found in the transit system, which I imagine is underground. I related it to emotions such as hopelessness and regret because it is the only Burnt not to attack you, instead pleading for help.

Finally, the Pastel Burnt seemed a good choice to associate with sugar. It is one of a kind and found in zone three; highly aggressive, we're not entirely sure why it's there, or why it alone looks like a more mutated form of the Calvary Burnt. No matter, sugar seems like a likely cause for this change. I tried to associate the Pastel Burnt to the overconsumption of sugar, unassociated to any external emotions.

What do you guys think; which emotions and elements should be associated to the Burnt, if any? What do you think that pillar of stuff is? Gore? Blood? Charcoal? Smoke? Something completely different? Feel free to leave a comment with your speculations. ^^
